Berkeley Young has over twenty years of experience in the travel industry, and leads an innovative team specializing in travel/tourism research, strategy, and management consultation.  His expertise  in  research, planning and strategy has provided destinations, attractions and tourism organizations valuable insights that have helped them thrive and grow within their competitive set.

Young’s travel industry experience includes management positions at a destination marketing organization, a Chamber of Commerce, a resort and a research firm.  In 2004 Young formed his Charlotte, NC based company focusing on research and strategic planning for all aspects of travel destinations.  Young Strategies, Inc. is known for its custom tailored approach in using research to address specific issues for DMOs. In the last twelve years Young has worked with over 100 destinations in twenty-seven states.

Berkeley is a nationally acclaimed speaker and workshop leader, and some of his very and engaging sessions have included branding, research, trends, destination marketing, multi-generational marketing and new product development opportunities.
